4. Legal basis and purpose of the processing of personal data
The purpose of this register is to preserve the traveller data required by the Act on Accommodation and Catering (Section 6 of the Accommodation and Catering Act 2006/308), to enable the contacts required by customer service, and to maintain the customer relationship. Direct marketing when it is not prohibited by the customer. The data is not used for automated decision making or profiling.
5. The informational content of the register
The information stored in the register consists of: the person’s name, position, company / organization, business ID, contact information (phone number, e-mail address, address, social media addresses), website addresses, IDs / profiles in social media services, billing information, other customer relationship and subscribed services related information. Information related to the device used by the person: e.g. terminal device, IP address, operating system and browser. (Cookies).
Depending on the customer base, the above information will be kept for the required time. The customer can request the destruction of their data.
6. Regulated sources of information
The information stored in the register is obtained from the customer e.g. via messages sent via web forms, chat channels, email, telephone, social media services, customer meetings and other situations where a customer discloses their information.
7. Regulated transfers of data and transfers of data outside the EU or the EEA
The data will not be passed on separately and will remain with the registrar only. Traveller data is disclosed to authorities designated by law. Data will not be transferred outside the EU or the European Economic Area.
8. Registry Security Principles
The register is handled with due care and the data processed by the information systems is adequately protected. When registry data is stored on Internet servers, the physical and digital security of their hardware is adequately addressed. The registrar ensures that the data stored, as well as the access rights to the servers and other information critical to the security of personal data, are treated confidentially and only by the employees whose job description it is a part of.
9. Right of inspection and right to request rectification of information
Every person in the register has the right to check the information stored in the register and to request the correction of any incorrect information or the completion of incomplete information. If a person wishes to check or request the rectification of data stored about him or her, the request must be sent in writing to the data controller. If necessary, the controller may ask the applicant to prove his or her identity. The controller will respond to the customer within the time limit set by the EU Data Protection Regulation (generally within one month).
10. Other rights related to the processing of personal data
A person in the register has the right to request the removal of his or her personal data from the register (“right to be forgotten”). Data subjects also have other rights under the EU’s general data protection regulation, such as restrictions on the processing of personal data in certain situations. Requests must be sent in writing to the controller. If necessary, the controller may ask the applicant to prove his or her identity. The controller will respond to the customer within the time limit set by the EU Data Protection Regulation (generally within one month).
11. Use of cookies
We use the so-called cookie function on our website. Rantakorpi farm
On the Rantakorpi farm, Finnish sheep and Eastern Finnish cattle are raised on a small scale. The farm offers horseback riding trips, experiences with farm animals and sheep products.
