Stable Spots

We have some stable spots to offer horses/ponies in a small herd. The open, spacious enclosure features a heated water trough and two large doors for the safe movement of the horses, opening out to the pasture and woods all around the year. Our horses mainly go unshod.

During the day in the winter-feeding season the horses are free to eat preserved hay from a bale equipped with a slow feed net. The bale cage is situated as far as possible from the stables to encourage the horses to move around as much as they can. After the evening feed the horses get locked into a smaller enclosure next to the stalls. In the summer the stall is kept dark in order to keep insects away. The place is thus ideal for horses with summer rash, or those sensitive to insect bites – they have access to an enclosed space at night and the pastures are open and windy. The horses are out on the pastures long into the summer. In the vicinity of the farm are relaxing forest trails, peaceful country roads and a well-lit riding arena measuring 20 x 40 m. Riding company is also on offer, and if necessary exercising the horses. The price for full care is 250 €/moth (including tax). Ask us more and come get to know our happy, easy-going herd!
